John Orlikow is a Canadian politician. He was elected to Winnipeg City Council for the River Heights - Fort Garry ward in a by-election on March 17, 2009.〔("Voters choose Orlikow" ). His opponent in the by-election was Geoff Currier, a host on the city's talk radio station CJOB.〔 Orlikow was re-elected in the 2010 election, beating Michael Kowalson, with 55% of the votes. However, voter turnout was only 22%. In the 2014 elections he was again re-elected, winning 55% of the votes, this time beating Taz Stuart.
